We are just over a week away from our next big cruise adventure! This time we are taking a one-way trip from Pier 35 in San Francisco to Port Everglades in Ft Lauderdale, Florida. The cruise itself is 15 days but we are tacking on another few days at the end to visit Key West!
What makes this trip especially nice is the fact that we are traveling with so many friends and neighbors! Even our dear friends from near Chester, England are joining us! You may remember that Edna and I were part of a hugely winning trivia team on two other cruises!! Edna and Les will be arriving in SF this Saturday, do the sights for a couple of days and then head out to Brentwood to meet up with the rest of our gang!
Two other couples from our neighborhood, Betty and Don and Michele and Tom, are flying north to join the ship as she leaves Vancouver! They will be onboard to greet us on Wednesday!
I've managed to get a bus to pick up our Brentwood group on Wednesday with a "chase" vehicle for all the luggage! There will be 24 of us and we should probably assign a few folks to pack Bloody Mary ingredients!!!
I'll do my best to keep up with this on a daily basis once we get onboard. I will attempt to post some pictures but the onboard wi-fi operates at glacial speed. i've still only got the use of my left hand for typing so my updates might actually be shorter and less boring!
